Printed new trim for my VW Golf - looks factory!

The trim around my gear shifter was all scratched up and ugly. Found a model here, printed it in black PETG with a matte finish.

Looks basically OEM. Friends can't even tell it's printed. Saved me like $60.

You'll want to use PETG with at least 0.2mm layer height. Works way better than PLA for car parts.

I always do a temp tower first. Makes a huge difference in layer adhesion.

Try printing at 245C with 70mm/s. That's my sweet spot for PETG.
