I wanted to have something different as a shifter that wasn't a metal rod to freeze me in the winter and burn me in the summer so I chose to make a shift knob that I liked the most for my MK5 Jetta... a 90's style Type R Honda shift knob. I printed it with the Fuzzy skin in Cura at a.3 level of fuzzy to give it texture and make it easier to grip. I know people are going to comment on the use of PLA in a car but I'm trying it out until I build an enclosure for ABS printing. The original design is for M12 x 1.25 threading and a flared out opening to countersink the shifter for a shorter more sporty throw, fitting with my shifting adapter: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WP3V9FW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 I made this in Tinkercad and if you need to change out the threading to your make and model just download the stl file of the M# bolt and threading size and replace it.
