Hello, this is a Sur-ron extension cover panel i made after purchassing a 72v 38AH chibattery which is higher than the original battery. The battery came with a 43mm spacer for the lock. This custom made panel will ONLY fit if your lock spacer is higher or equal to 43mm. My battery came with a 43mm ABS spacer so it is pretty easy to make one yourself if you don't have one. Also, you will need to find a way to glue this panel to your existing battery cover. I have used silicone on mine. It looks solid but only time will tell. If you have other idea on how this panel could be hold in place without glue let me know or feel free to edit the design. I thought about connecting it to the 2 screws holding the lock but the angles on this cover are so weird and i'm not able to measure the angle and positions of the screws vs the part i designed. Let me know if you have any question or if the dimension does not fit your cover. I can edit it easily. I have printed this part upside down (180 degree from original position) and the result was great. On my Surron the fit was perfect, it clears the seat when opening, it's not in the way of the battery when installing the battery in the compartment and the overall battery cover feels much more secure once close VS not having the panel and only the lock spacer (it does not wobble left to right).
