These 10mm hex head nuts have a 4.5mm unthreaded hole designed for M6 bolts. The thread is formed as they are wound on and can be used multiple times. The underside is countersunk to aid the tapping of the thread. They have a 16mm ring to act as a washer, bevelled top and a height of 11mm (ring height 3mm) as per the original items. By their very nature they are a tight fit and therefore act in a self-locking way. These are commonly used to secure the battery box and utility boxes in the back of the various European car makes including BMW, SAAB, VOLVO, MERCEDES etc. They can also be found to secure car body parts and trim pieces, lambda sensors and other car accessories that would be damaged or inappropriate for metal nuts. Easy to print and use. petg or nylon filament recommended.
