Description

My wife ordered a headrest bag hook on-line for her car, and when I saw it (and what they were charging for it) I figured I could do better. I tried printing a version I found here on Thingiverse, but it was 7 pieces and required too much clean-up to put together. I wanted something better than the one piece thing my wife had without having to clean-up a PLA print before using it. I also wanted something that wouldn't require you to remove the headrest to use - I have seen several designs that require you to remove the headrest to install them (really?). A few hours learning to use Sketch-up again (give me a break, it had been 5 years since I last used it) and this is what I came up with. There are actually four models here. Two types: A regular version where the main structure is 10mm by 10mm A skinny version where the main structure is 5mm by 10mm Each type has two lengths (70mm & 80mm) where the lengths are measured from the inside of the hook to the near opening of the slot. To figure out which you need, you just need to hook a tape measure over the headrest bar and measure to the back of your seat. For my car it was 70mm. I made the 80mm for anyone that might have a deeper seat.
