The cup holders in the arm rest of my 2010 Nissan Titan are far too loose to trust a drink in, especially on rough roads. People have used DIY foam inserts to fix the problem in the past, but I wanted to design something better. This insert has beveled sides like the cup holder, and doesn't quite touch the bottom. This way, it is guaranteed to fit tight and not rattle around. Fast octagon from 15%->25%->30% using S3D variable layers tool. Please know that PLA will likely soften and warp if left inside a car on a hot day, so print in ABS, PETG, or something similar. How I used Tinkercad to make this (and how to edit it for your needs):.
