Description

This was my first design project. I had built something similar out of wood but always knew a more refined version would be easier on a printer. WHAT IT IS: A very specific tool for holding the YETI Cup Cap as well as the charging cradle for the Samsung Gear S3. I use this on my commute to work to drink my coffee and charge my watch. This keeps them in perfect position. There is a channel routed through the design to accommodate the charging cord. IF that very specific use-case is not applicable to you, but you do have a late 20-teens F-150, you may still want the stl files "F150-CupHolder-Dovetail-Male.stl" and "F150-CupHolder-Dovetail-Female.stl" as those will mate with the edge of the center console nearly perfectly. You are absolutely free to use them to create whatever you would like, would love to see some of your creations! The Dovetail male is designed to fit 2 medium CommandStrips on the narrower side. I would not reccomend printing PLA if you plan to use it in a warm climate as it will likely warp badly in the hot truck. I used PETG and will edit if I have any troubles. ****07/19/2020 NOTE: As of right now, the channel for the charging cable is VERY tight and will only fit USB Cords with very small heads.
