Description

This is a Dashboard Speaker Adapter for Toyota GT86/Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ. It is a full redisign of Schankenstein´s Speaker Adapter. It also features a rainshield, which is allways very important to have. It is made for a Andrian Audio A80neo and a A25/A25T/A25G speaker. It includes a 30ml coupling volume for tweeters with drilled core. (as the A25G) Since speakers it is designed for use standardized dimensions, it should fit many other models. Status: -V02 Printed and tested -> works fine, OEM speker cover need to be cut back slightly (see pictures) Instructions: -Use PETG or ABS. Materials like PLA will not withstand the heat and stress of this application. Furthermore, accoustics could be affected in a negative way. -Use supports. Printbed touching, 70° overhang angle. -Print with 100% infill, but take care to really use infill and not maximum bottom layer count. (in CURA) Set bottom layer / top layer count to 3. Otherwise you might get a slow and/or a weak print. -Make sure to use a good overlap between infill and inner wall to get a strong print. -Use zig zac or lines as infill patern to get a strong print. Do not use concentric patern. Installation: -drill hole(s) for tweeter cable as necessary -OEM tweeter mount needs to cut off sligthly (see pictures) -use 3 plastic rivits for fixation -form a proper volume for midrange speaker above air duct by use of butyl plates -close gaps arround adapter to create sealed volume for midrange speaker.
