3DPrintedCarPartDescription
Delorean DMC-12 Door light triggers (CTSY Light Switch) were angled downward causing the dash light (door open) and also the door lights to constantly illuminate and drain the battery. Door ajar alarm/buzzer was also affected. The plastic bracket that supports the switch provides little support and breaks over time (see first picture). I have an original replacement included here. Delorean store replacement (with switch) here: http://store.delorean.com/p-7013-ctsy-light-sw.aspx I also modified the original with a brim and a slotted hole for more stability. On the driver's side there are two switches. I merged the two individual brackets into a single '2UP' bracket for even greater stability/support. Also (edit: removed hole plug. It was terrible) Also also wik, notice that the 3d models have holes for the screws but the actual prints do not. While printing, the first several layers have an open hole. After those first few layers the hole is printed over. You can take a 5/32" drill bit to open them back up.
