Description

The side badges for 99-07 Ford F250 Created in Fusion 360 V1.0 The First version of the side badges which was designed to mimic a 1999-2004 F250 badges V2.0 The second version of the badges which was designed to mimic the 2005-2007 F250 badges V3.0 A third version is in the works to be a DIY light-up badge that is similar to the Recon badges that are no longer offered for the 99-07 F250s Printing V1.0 and V2.0: Orientation - For the best result print the badge vertically (As it would sit on the truck) such that the layers are horizontal when the badge is mounted Resolution - 0.2mm or 0.1mm the thinner they layer height, the less work will be needed to make the badge look better after printing; however, the badge will take a long time to print Bed Adhesion - I had the best luck printing on a raft that was 3 layers thick and starting with the bed temp at 65c then lowering it to 50c after the first layer Supports - "Tree" supports worked well for printing the model vertically Printing V3.0: *Will BE UPDATED WHEN MODEL HAS REACHED ITS FINAL FORM*
