Description

Rather than make Yet Another Custom Mount for a specific phone, it seemed easier to adapt the navi/GPS port plug for GoPro style mounting systems. This was a simple task of slicing off the top of the original model and adding an appropriate hole for a 1/4-20 screw, which is what camera tripods use. In this case, that screw is a 1/2" 1/4-20 socket head cap screw. You will also need the GoPro tripod mount as shown in the photos, along with whatever compatible device holder you want to use, many of which are also available for download and printing. I show one (in orange) in one of the photos. This kind of screw: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CPJS9CQ This kind of tripod mount: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071XVZKP1 I'd suggest this be printed in PETG or ABS, or other high temp capable material, since it will be on the dash of a car.
