3DPrintedCarPartDescription
I designed this Timing Chain Wedge Tool for all 2004 and up Ford 4.6L & 5.4L, 3 Valve modular engines. This Timing Chain Wedge will help you get the job done quickly and easily! It allows for Easy Cam Phaser replacement Without Removing the Timing Cover. Also allows you to remove the camshaft without losing chain tension. Only additional hardware required is 3ft of #10-24 threaded rod, nyloc nuts, and a small handle. Assemble like pics and bend the threaded rod to aid in installation of tool. NOTE- Only print in Flexible PLA, nylon, or ABS. Here are the instructions. The video is for a Cam Phaser lock-out kit, but the procedures for using the tool are identical if only replacing noisy Cam phasers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YsoU2zEWTyE
