Description

While Driving around I noticed a rattling noise coming from my door in my 2008 Ford Ranger. It turns out the window crank mechanism had worn with age and had some play in it. I printed this bushing to press around the crank spline shaft and haven't had any rattling since. To install, remove the window crank handle with a long T20 bit, then simply push the bushing into place (short end goes in first). If it doesn't slide in all the way (mine didn't because I wanted it to be a snug fit) just get it on enough to get the crank handle screw started, then tightening down that screw will push the bushing the rest of the way in place You do not need to remove the door card. the bushing will slip through the existing hole. I did not notice any difference in terms of resistance when raising and lowering the window.
