Description

After installing the "slim console" in my recently acquired 2017 Transit 150 to delete the giant cupholders and allow better accessibility to the passenger seat for my wife, I discovered that the original console's bezel for the aux input jack was shaped differently than the new console's, and that bezel for the new console is NLA from Ford. I knew my wife wouldn't stand for a gaping ugly hole in the dash and I needed a place for some USB chargers, so I whipped this up in Fusion to get the job done. This has to be installed before the console is in place, and uses a backing plate to stay in place, with the USB chargers sandwiching the whole assembly to the console, but there's enough slack in the wires that it wasn't a big deal. Curves aren't quite perfect but it's good enough for me and hard to notice. I printed with the visible side on the bed of my AD5X so the texture would help it look more "factory". I used Overture black PETG, if it warps I can reprint in ABS or ASA easily enough. STEP included if you want to mess with it yourself.
