Michael ChenDescription
Scalpers on eBay and Etsy have been selling this design without my permission. Don't buy from them. This is another quick design I made in order to fix my E34's glove box hinge. The part is used on a few other models too and it's pretty common for them to break. I checked with the dealer and it'll be 5 days before I can get one and it'll be nearly €40.00! There's 2 on the bottom of the glove box but one of mine gave up the ghost so I used the remaining one to design this new part that can be fitted with an M6 screw and a nut. It works just like the original except instead of a lever to lock it, you just tighten the nut. I printed it on my Ender 3 at 0.24mm layer height and 40% infill. It took about 40mins and it's really strong so should be well up to the job. Anyway, hope some of you find it helpful in your quest to keep these old gems on the roads a little longer. :D.
