3DPrintedCarPartDescription
Have a quick changing dashcam with no tools needed. The Mobius (v1) dashcam will slide in and out of the base, in which both the camera and the base are magnetically mounted (the camera magnetically clings to the base, and the base magnetically clings to a bolt). This allows for quickly stashing you dashcam if you're parking with the top down or similar. I also built it so it won't interfere with the sunvisor. The base has a star pattern, so you can angle the direction of the camera as necessary. Requirements: - Print the 2 models in PETG, since we need heat resistance! - You'll need 3 magnets, of type 12mm x 5mm N35 Super Strong Round Disc Rare Earth Neodymium Magnets. I bought mine here: https://www.umagnets.com/p/round-magnet-n50-12mm-x-5mm-nickel-plated/ - Super glue to glue them in with - A mobius v1 action cam - The Mobius actioncam mount/cradle that came with the device. Install: Glue the magnets in, make sure the polarities are the right direction first by test fitting! Add the printed adapter to the cradle that came with the device. Run a dash cam wire up the post, and mount. Tada!
