3DPrintedCarPartDescription
I broke a couple of the green plastic clips that hold the plastic swing gate/tailgate trim on a Jeep Unlimited. Modeled these to serve as a temporary replacement until i can get replacements (06511829AA). Yes, they're ugly and there's stringing but they do in a pinch. I printed these in PLA with a 0.6mm nozzle with a 0.12mm layer height; recommend going to a smaller (0.4 or even 0.2) nozzle as i'm not getting the best result w/ the inner features. Also suggest printing w/ supports but you may need to tweak how you do those as to make getting the part out of them easier. The green clip in the photo is the (broken) OEM part; the black ones are the 3D printed versions.
