I was inspired by Morimori (http://www.vwgolf-mk2.com/eprofile.html) and how he modified the cabin air intake of his highly custom MK2 GTI (http://www.vwgolf-mk2.com/epollenfilterinstallation.html). I was not able to find the filter he installed (it was 90's JDM, probably), I just created my own filter covers and frame for any one to print and use! Since this was custom, I added a little VW flair by integrating the pattern from early OEM VW parts boxes as the pattern for the grill. Fits a filter medium up to 5 mm thick. I'm sure it can be modified to fit thicker filters if desired. *Updated* Version 2 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2902348)
