Michael ChenDescription
The pre 96 NA Miatas have a tombstone that is slightly larger than DIN, but at least in the case of my car, have a metal radio support try that is DIN sized. In an effort to have a better fitting part, and because I was too lazy to buy a bunch of cubbies and see what fits I designed and printed this. Its 123mm tall, and 215 wide. I had to print diagonally on my printer, and the screw bosses needed supports. Nominal wall thickness is 2.5mm, I rocked 3 walls at .6mm thick so effectively its printed solid for the majority of the part. The screw holes are over sized and ovaled to allow for adjustment before tightening. The clearance for the screws is based around the OE screws on the Miata. STEP and STL are included to make modification easier.
