3DPrintedCarPartDescription
This is a set of files for creating a terminal cover for a custom, 5-pack Nissan Leaf battery. We used this terminal cover for our PPPRS battery for the 2016 Race in Detroit. The posted files include mods that I would have preferred while I was designing the piece. If you would like the original files as shown in the images, download the.zip file. These components are a mix between 3D printed and laser cut parts: 1. Bottom (3D Printed): Bracket with captive nuts (6/32) that slides over the battery terminals and is held via friction, battery terminal latches and copper interconnects. 2. Middle (3D Printed or Laser Cut): Spacer piece between the bottom and top. 3. Top (Laser Cut): ~1/4" clear acrylic cover *EDIT* I added a bottom-middle combo piece that may be printed as a single piece as opposed to the 2 separate bottom and middle pieces.
