I added speakers to my audio system. Did not want to make holes in parcel shelf or add a box containing speakers to the luggae room. These adapters can be attached to the inside of the grids / doors in the trunk. 4 x 6 inch oval speakers fit on these. No need to drill. I did remove some of the clips for holding the insulation.
