3DPrintedCarPartDescription
Attached are two versions of a 3D printable replacement sunroof gear and cable housing for a Porsche 944. Over time, these bases will crack, and come loose from the frame of the car. While able to keep the roof shut, a broken base will not allow the Targa to open completely and puts unnecessary strain on the supporting components. The 1st version is for late-model (85.5+) cars, with late-style cable drive assemblies. The second version is one I came up with that will allow me to install a late-style cable drive assembly into my 1984 944, which has different mounting provisions in the roofline. Also included is a rough guide cover, since I couldn't be bothered to make this version fit with the stock one. I recommend slicing these on their long flat edges, upright. Feel free to modify or remix these as you see fit.
