Description

Many RV's don't have a digital coach battery readout and those 3 light check panels are pretty worthless for monitoring the 12V supply state. I wanted a digital display that was always on and in easy view. Next the USB and lighter type plugs are on the passenger side of the dash and the GPS and brake control are of course driver side. Further, the existing outputs are always hot and I would like the option to shut devices down when parked without disconnecting their cable each time. I found all 4 power modules in a plate for mounting titled: "12V Car Cigarette Lighter Socket + Dual USB Port Charger + Voltmeter Panel LED" on eBay. The components were individually mounted to the plate so I pulled them and made a small insert pod to fit a cubby location in the dash.
