Description

Radenso DS1 Tesla Screen Mount for Model 3/Y I tried to get it near as flush with the screen as I could with out it looking oddly out of place on the backside of the mount. When you purchase the Radenso DS1, it comes with a suction-cup mount that uses a magnet to lock the mounting system in place for the detector. If you notice on one side of the mount, there is a rectangular "tube". You can easily unscrew the magnetic from the suction-cup, take the magnet out and that rectangular "tube" snugly fits the stock magnet. Giving this mount also the ability to be magnetic as well. It does fit snug around the screen, but just snug enough to not cause any damage and still remain in place (most of my revisions were getting this part right). Shout out to @b00st3d, his V1G2 mount was what gave me the idea for this, as originally I was going to go with the V1G2 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4914573). In a future revision I plan on adding some small cable guides to have the cable going towards the passenger side of the car. Also, from what I hear this will be very similar (if not the same) mounting system for the Radenso Theia:) Version History * 2.9.2 - I wanted some better magnet action, so I upgraded the magnet slight. 2.9.2 uses a N52 19.5x9.53x6.35mm (I bought mine from TotalElement.com) * 2.8 - Noticed due to the tilt of the screen the radar detector pointed down instead of straight, this is corrected in 2.8. * 2.5 - Release.
