A planning starting point only; wall count, orientation, and geometry often matter more than infill.

3DPrintedCarPartDescription
New: added support for standard 3mm round leds. Guides for help drilling the can holder and the armrest compartment of the Renaul Kadjar to insert LEDs for night lighting. The two guides are designed to make precision holes for inserting LEDs. They are good for common 3mm round leds. I suggest to use the guides to make the holes with a 1.5mm iron drill bit and then enlarge them with the 3mm drill bit. I used 3mm white cylindrical leds, I also made two supports to hold them in place, as in the picture. Two versions are available: a couple of supports for standard round 3mm LEDS and one for non common 3mm cylindric LEDs. A total of 4 LEDS are needed: two for the can compartment and two for the cockpit under the armrest. I connected them in pairs, and fed a 330 ohm resistor for each pair. The power supply was derived from the handbrake switch, connecting the positive to the pink wire with white line and the negative to the dark gray wire with white line (see pictures). The LEDs light up when the vehicle lights are on (position or dipped beam).
