Renault Zoe Anti SD Eject Cap

The Renault Zoe has an SD card slot right beside the USB port and Line In plug. However, this SD card is only for the navigation system, and not in any way related to the two media ports it is, for reasons only known to Renault, placed right next to. However, it has been placed in a way that will inevitably cause you to eject it by accident when you put something in the tray it has been placed in the side of. This action seems to cause immediate navigation system loss which in most cases requires the car to shut completely down (turn off, leave, lock, wait for every screen to go completely black) and restart before you get your maps back. From what I read, there is even a slight chance that your navigation system dies (dut to card contents getting corrupted) and you will need to buy a new SD card to get it back. For this reason, I have spent an eternity of at least several minutes and some sarcasm creating a high-tech fix for this understandably hard to solve engineering challenge. Put this cap on the end of your SD card (preferably while the car is turned completely off, lest you eject the card while mounting the cap -- the card needs to be mounted while doing it since you can't plug it in with the cap on), and now when you accidentally push the cap, it won't push the card itself anymore, causing it to stay in. May you always be able to find your destination in the future! You may need to clean up the card slit with a hobby knife after printing. I recommend testing with another card while doing this to ensure that the cap mounts without too much difficulty, yet stays on the card. Mounting in the car seems to be possible without ejecting by sliding the cap over a corner of the card and then all the way over the rest of the card once the corner is in place. However, I would recommend waiting in the locked car for the navigation (including the clock display) to turn off (three minutes after locking the car, I have heard) before doing it, just in case. The three versions of the cap differ slightly - number 3 is wider at the base (giving less of a protruding look) and will probably need to be printed with the slit side facing down. Number 2 is one mm shorter than the original, but is untested.
