Well, My wife wanted to have the original grey wheels of her car to have a different color. ( Original grey, to become black) The original wheel hub caps are grey and made out of plastic, rather damaged.. I figured it would be a nice project for me to redesign these caps and share the files. To have a easy print I decided to make the model in two pieces. I later used some sandpaper and glued them together. I also paused at the first layer for the emblem and switched color to have a red `S` on black. The original cap has a spring you can use in this model. If it's missing i can't guarantee the clips alone will be able to hold the printed cap. More photo´s will be added later on. UPDATE: 09:20 07-march-2020 CET) New file upload with the SEAT emblem moved up slightly. (SEAT_WheelCap_V2.1.4Top.stl ) UPDATE 11- May 2020 The clips design will be adapted. It isn't strong enough:-(.
