Description

Stop/parking signal use 3W star led on 1W (3*180Ohms parallel, 1W Each) for stop an 0.25W (180Ohms 1W, single) for parking (more power blind back drivers). Turn signal use 3W Yellow led on 0.5W ( 2*180Ohms parallel) Is recommended to place a low value capacitor in parallel with led (1uF no polarized) and a diode for reverse polarity protection. Seal with black silicone (fastix) to prevent moisture (no need to change a light for a lifetime of the assembly). Its optimal to use a switch-mode power supply for leds, but because of the low power compares to stock lights its no much sense to make further optimization but it improves consumption. Current efficiency with resistors is 34%. Use Silicone sealant to fix the LED to heat-sink, because of the low power involved is enough thermal efficiency.
