Description

This is a plate to replace one of the blanking plates located near the cigar lighter in a 1994-1999 (gen 6) Toyota Celica. I found that with my cigarette to USB adapter plugged in the leads fouled the gear stick so wanted an alternative option. I didn't want to cut the existing blanking plates in case I wanted to remove the USB sockets. I purchased a 12V to dual USB adapter (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07F2XWKGK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) but found the provided fascia plate wasn't suitable (too bulky and not tight enough). I measured up the existing plate including the retaining clips and printed it out. unfortunately I wasn't able to fit the small pins on the side of the 12V adapter and so once the USB sockets were seated in the print, used a small amount of silicone adhesive to hold it in place. My first attempt at a custom 3D part, so forgive any minor errors. I don't believe the print to be too demanding and should work with most settings and materials.
