Description

This is a mount I made to install my FTM-400XDR controller head into the storage bin of the console in my Toyota Tacoma pickup truck. It will likely also fit the FTM-300DR and the FTM-100DR radios as well. Us an M5x10 screw to mount the control head to the top surface. The mount may be fixed to the console bin using adhesive-backed velcro. I sprayed the top of the mount with a few coats of FlexSeal to add some friction. Since there is only one mounting screw, the friction keeps the control head from spinning. Make sure the FlexSeal (or equivalent) is totally dry before mounting the control head. I posted a YouTube video of the install at this link: https://youtu.be/LjA46Mhwwwg
