I made this to take up an otherwise useless space in my truck, since I didn't have room anywhere else. This is a very niche solution for a very niche problem,so It is made to slot right into the small side pocket of the center console. You could use double-sided tape to keep it down, but you shouldn't need to. The radio and microphone stay locked in place using the grooved on the back side of the model, preventing them from moving around when you pick up the mic. I made this with the stock UV-5R and the Baofeng UV-5R mic, so it has not been tested with any other setup. It should work with most radios, as long as the back clip is long enough.
