Description

It's nice to have a Volkswagen Vanagon. But as they are gaining experiance (aka become old), there occure a few technical problems here and there. Very common is that the odometer stops counting the kilometers (yes, metric!). Usually, the axle with the green gear (2nd photo) springs out of it's position. No big deal, easy to fix. Infact, there are a few different fixing approaches circulating the web, but I did not like that they all require you to use brute force and/or disassemble the entire unit. So, I designed this bracket to hold the axle in place once it is fiddled back to its original position. Easy. Apart from the printed parts you'll need 2 M3x10 srews and 2 M3 Nuts. And you better use ABS or better. It tends to get pretty warm around the dashbord on a sunny summer day...
