This is a 6.5" door speaker adapter/spacer for VW's using an aftermarket wiring harness adapters like these. Note it seems that most of these are wired opposite polarity for newer VW's, so you'll need to cut and splice back together for correct +/- orientation: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B082TPKG2L/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s03?ie=UTF8&psc=1 You slide the adapter plug into the side of the spacer ring. the slot is friction fit, and holds the adapter tight and secure. This particular spacer was made specifically for the JL C1-650, but can probably be used on other 6.5" speakers. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074SVDB1S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Recommended to print in PETG or ABS/ASA. I used 4 walls and 30% infill, with bridging enabled.
