3DPrintedCarPartDescription
I wanted to replace the speakers in my Volvo S60 2003, only to find that the stock speakers are larger than my JBL GX502 ones I used in my old car. Volvo doesn't really make it easy on anyone to replace the speakers. Was searching for a ring that would allow me to fit 5.25" (130mm) speakers in the 6.5" (165mm) hole. Unfortunately no real luck, so I had to create my own version, which is also my very first project in Fusion 360. Not bad after all. The holes that align with the volvo bracket are 2mm, but I would recommend to drill them to 3mm, as 2mm screws are not too common. Also because this is just a thin ring that doesn't really take drilling that well, use bolts and nuts instead to secure ring to bracket. The speakers holes itself are 4mm, and if you don't overdo it, it will secure just fine with only screws.
