3DPrintedCarPartDescription
I made this to go into the stock dash mounts on a Volkswagen Amarok. This should also work for other cars in the VW range. Simply pop out the stock covers and screw this. Can be used as a blank, or as a universal mount for phones and other accessories I've included 3 files - A blank, incase you lost your stock cover - Arrow pointing up, just to check alignment - Rectangular - 30x15mm 2mm tall protrusion. When making your own parts simply create a negative of this (And add approx 0.2mm tolerance to all sides an an extra 0.4mm of depth) then glue and press them together All parts have an arrow on the unside to assist with orientation when gluing to your own holder When using the mount to glue to your own parts, you may want to add an additional 1mm spacer, as the base mount itself will sit flush against the dash mount outer ring and your part will likely rub against it and may not want to lock into place I've included a photo to assist with making this mount from scratch, as the 3 locking tabs are not at equal angles to each other I print with eSun PLA+ and find it takes many months before any noticeable warping of the part even when parked in the sun.
