VW T3 syncro 16" Nabenkappe / Hub Cap

German / Deutsch ====== Nabenkappe für den VW T3 syncro 16", Teilenummer 251 601 151 C. Die Nabenkappe wurde mit großer Mühe dem originalen Design nachempfunden. Die Kappe liegt vom Design her sehr eng und stramm unter den Radmuttern, muss also mit einiger Kraft unter den Kugelbund gedrückt werden. Wer es sich einfach machen möchte und die Kappe dabei schonen möchte, löst lieber eine Radmutter, legt die Kappe auf und zieht die Mutter wieder fest. Sie ist ursprünglich nur für den 16" syncro gewesen, sollte beim 14" syncro aber auch passen (kein Gewähr! gerne Rückmeldung falls es passt). Sie passt allerdings NICHT bei 2WD an der Vorderachse, da dort die Fettkappe zu groß ist. Sie passt ebenfalls nicht an Mefro-Nummer 43220 106, 6J x 16 H2 ET30 sowie Mefro-Nummer 43130 104, 6J x 15 H2 ET30 da diese Felgen Radmuttern mit 12 mm Kugelbund benutzen (original 14 mm). Eventuell kann man die Kappe vergrößert drucken, das habe ich aber bisher nicht getestet. English / Englisch ====== Hub Cap for the VW T3 syncro 16", part number 251 601 151 C. The cap was designed to look as close to the original as possible. The cap fits by design very tightly under the wheel nut, so you need some force to put it under. If you want it easier and more gentle to the cap, remove one bolt, put it under and then tighten the bolt again. It was originally only designed for the 16" syncro, but should also fit the 14" syncro (no guarantee! appreciate feedback if it fits). It won't fit on the front axle on a 2WD, since the fat cap is too big. It also won't fit on Mefro-Number 43220 106, 6J x 16 H2 ET30 and Mefro-Number 43130 104, 6J x 15 H2 ET30, since those wheels use spherical bolts with 12 mm, as the original bolts are 14 mm. By chance you can enlargen the cap and test it, but I haven't yet. Let me know if you made one!;-) =====
