3DPrintedCarPartDescription
As I have installed a new RCD-330 car audio device containing apple car play into my Passat 3C B6 I wanted to reuse my existing vw phone adaptor. To do so I have soldered a USB extension cable to the back of the new radio. Then I have disassembled the phone adaptor, removed the original cable pushed it through the hole in the dashboard. Then I have put the radio USB cable right behind the phone adaptor and connected a short charging cable to it. Finally I have printed the adaptor here, put the cable through it and glued the phone mount specific to my phone on it. This thing was made with Tinkercad.
