This is a remix of the VW Beetle spare wheel hold down knob with a reduced height to allow it to grip thinner wheels or for cars with a raised hold down nut. I have made this for use in a Skoda Citigo with a spacesaver spare. The previous design, which this is remixed from, bottoms out against the boot floor just before the wheel is fully clamped so i have taken 5mm of the height (initial extruded boss reduced from 15mm to 10mm). An M8x30 bolt pressed in easily and works fine.
