Description

I wanted to make a phone holder for my car that allows me to see the phone clearly while driving, without having to take my eyes off the road. I have tried windscreen mounts and other types, but never found something I was completely happy with so I set about designing this mount that sits in place of the cars original fan grill. I made a couple of prototypes to make sure the fitment was solid before adding a wireless charging feature to the holder. I bought a cheapo wireless charging pad and removed the its inner workings and fitted it to the new mount. The most common size of these coils is 45mm approximately, but if yours is different, you can alter the size of the model to suit. I added some holes to the bottom of the holder to reduce the ammount of filiament used and also to allow the phone to be charged with a cable if required. This part is designed specifically for a 7th generation Honda Civic, part number 77636-S6E-E01ZA, but this part is used in many other Honda vehicles.
