2015 Honda Accord Gas Cap Tether

This is a replacement for the OEM 2015 Honda Accord gas cap tether (because who wants to spend $75 for a replacement gas cap??). I tried to keep the original ring around the cap and make and in-place replacement part. You can remove the ring from the cap with needle nose pliers. The original tether has a tab and a pin holding it to the cap (see photos). You can remove the tether from the car, itself, also (with a little bit of effort) also using the needle nose pliers. The ring doesn't spin all that well since the tether obstructs it a bit, but maybe try to grease or WD-40 to help it move and possibly shave down the strap a bit. Note that this is a work in-progress, so I have iterated it a few times. The pictures have a different end than the final version, but the install is the same procedure. Supports are needed only for the little cylindrical tab.
