3DPrintedCarPartDescription
I wanted a nice OEM looking way to mount switches in a non permanent way. As far as I know, this will fit 2015+ STI models only. I don't know if it will fit the WRX as the interior is a bit different (please let me know if that is incorrect). There are several versions ranging from a basic plate to cover the area below the radio, to ready to install with switch cutouts. There are split 2 piece versions of each different model for people with smaller printers. For the split version with the switch cutouts, the left side has the tabs to fuse the halves together with glue (see bottom for adhesive I use). The solid plate split model does not have the tabs so I have also included just the tabs in a separate file. They are not required, but make life easier when joining the parts. As far as mounting. you'll have to get creative. I just lined it up and hot glued the inner edges, but you could make mounting brackets. Sand and/or fill to make smooth for paint or vinyl (I used 400 grit to finish, and auto-body filler to smooth gap from 2 piece print) LINKS: Switches- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01F55SXVC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Adhesive- https://www.amazon.com/J-B-Weld-50133-Tan-1-Pack/dp/B009EU5ZNO/ref=sr_1_5?crid=37XNWIN55A71K&keywords=jb%2Bweld%2Bplastic%2Bbonder&qid=1572083173&sprefix=JB%2Bweld%2Bplas%2Caps%2C121&sr=8-5&th=1&psc=1 Vinyl wrap- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CF3ONIE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
