3DPrintedCarPartDescription
As user tyeo098 rightfully pointed out, the OEM version of the False Floor Bracket (as well as the 3D model that floats around the internet) was designed for injection molding: Hollow with some ribs and a brim like edge around it. Printing this using FDM 3D printers would require a lot of (wasted) support material and also take about 14 hours of printing. This design of the false cargo floor bracket takes the original OEM design and modifies it to be well suited for FDM printing. A slight draft angle of 2 degrees was kept, in addition to some added reinforcements at the front opening. With 10 percent infill it will be plenty strong and printing takes about 8 hours. No supports needed!
