Description
Made this dock to hold my iphone in my truck, for Carplay purposes. Requires you have the center console BUT still have a column shifter, as it goes in the red circled space shown. I used a couple of Command Strips on the back to hold it in place. It's a snug fit. Standard iphone charging cable fits perfectly into the cutout, (aftermarket might not), and routes down under. I was going to drill a hole into the area with the USB ports, but instead I just have it loop around and into the USB area. iPhone 8 Plus fits perfectly, Iphone 7 plus and 6 plus may fit too? I know the 8 is a bit thicker.
