I needed a way to hold my iPhone 6 in my 1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ for navigation. This holder grips the dashboard (and the defroster opening) and is easily installed and removed without any fasteners. Print the two parts and super glue them together as in the photos. Done. (Print the phone holder standing upright. Print the clip laying on one side -- which is not how it's shown in the stl file.) Update: I added the Google Sketchup file for the phone holder component, so you can customize it to fit other phones. Update 2: I forgot something about cars, especially Jeeps: They do tend to vibrate a bit. Since the phone is not a tight fit in the holder, it buzzes around in there a lot. I'm noodling on a fix for this -- for right now, a piece of sticky-backed felt should take up the slack nicely. (Later that day: The stick-on felt pad works perfectly, so I'm calling it done!).
