Description

Just a quick, crude mount for a pair of work / off road reverse lights on a Land Rover Discovery II. Wires are fed in through the existing hole in the top of the door and routed through the existing wire tube. I wanted a mechanism to mount the lights on the rear door, without any permanent damage (no drilling holes or gluing). This just requires removing a rubber plug from an existing hole in the top of the door to run the wires through the door. The mounts are held on by the hook and then secured to the door with self-adhesive industrial strength low profile Velcro to prevent them sliding around. Printed in ABS, will see how long they stand up. Ideally, I'd make a better model, print at higher quality and paint them.. but they mount $7 lights from Amazon (Nilight 18W 4" Flood lights) a 1/4-20 x 1/2" stainless bolt & nylock nut holds the light to the mount.
