Alessio Poli (polipo41)A flexible replacement cover for the exterior tailgate-release button identified by the source creator as a 2007 MINI R56 part. The verified CC BY 4.0 source archive contains one structurally valid printable STL, a neutral geometry render and a physical before/after installation collage showing the cover at the tailgate-handle switch opening. The printable geometry contains no MINI/BMW emblem, lettering or wordmark. The creator printed it in soft TPU and lightly sanded it to match the remaining original interface. Other MINI generations, years, body styles and handle revisions are excluded.
Exterior switch warning: verify a 2007 MINI Cooper R56 and the exact tailgate-handle switch opening before installation. Use weather-, UV- and temperature-resistant flexible material, remove only minimal material when fitting, and leave smooth edges. With the vehicle parked, confirm the button moves freely, returns fully, does not bind or self-actuate, keeps water away from the switch, and still permits normal tailgate and emergency access. Remove the cover immediately if it sticks, tears, loosens, leaks, prevents opening or could fall away.
