Remixed from thing:1413442. >This is the plastic insert inside the rubber outer wrapper of the stock radio in a newer Cooper Mini Car. > >Outer rubber from original goes over this insert and the original metal insert goes on the inside. I found the original had too large of an inner diameter, even with the instruction to use the metal insert from the original knob. My 2005 Mini radio has a knob with a 4.8 mm D-shaft, so I have adjusted the design for that size. Metal insert is no longer required.
