Description

This connector plug fits the control port on a electric power steering pump to 02-08 Mini Cooper's. The units have 3 control pins and a main 12v power plug. To start the pump, pin-1 needs to be connected to 12v+, and then pin-2 needs only be temporary pulsed once on 12v+ for a second or two. In other words pin-1 should be connected to your ignition switch and pin-2 connected to your distributor so that the pump only starts once the engine is running. This pump makes for a good custom electric power steering conversion in hot rod applications. If you need the main power connector there's one here --> https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4668634
