This tab was made for a RHD Mk1 Ford Focus windscreen washer bottle. The original on the car I was repairing for a friend was missing the hook section and a replacement from from the wrecking yard was also broken so I didn't know how this was originally shaped. Bottle removal should be done by removing the mounting screws, removing the filler neck from inside the engine bay and then sliding the bottle about 2cm to the left to disengage this fragile clip. It appears this is often broken by people pulling the bottle straight out. The washer bottle can be mounted without this clip but this does allow the bottle to sit in place while the mounting screws are fitted. This design was tweaked after test fitting and fits nicely.
