Description

This is a magnetic phone Mount for MX-5 ND. It is printed in one piece and it uses a 2"x1"x1/4" Neodymium N52 Magnet. Read carefully when you order and get the with the strongest pull force. I have been using it for over a year..1 or.2 layers 3 or 4 four walls 60% infill Supports 10 layer brim Print on its side I can also be printed in.2 layer but it takes longer to finish. As for my finishing. I sanding with 220,400. Wet sanded with 400, 600, 800 and 1200. Lastly I polished it with plastic/acrylic polishing compound. Please note that I tried: PETG and PETG carol. They both eventually loose tension so the mount does not snap. The last one which has lasted over a year was printed with Polycarbonate. I did annealed the part for 1 hour @ 210 F. You need to find the stronger 2x1x1/4 in magnet. i used low viscosity epoxy to secure. I have provided a template to cut the rubber piece. This provides friction so the phone does not slide. I used contact cement to adhere it to the mount. you wan to use a rubber sheet that is about 1mm.
